Product Overview
This TNC-EPS4310N9 PoE switch is equipped with ten 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports, with ports 1 through 8 supporting the IEEE 802.3 af/at Power over Ethernet standards. Each port can supply up to 30W of power individually, while the entire device delivers a maximum PoE output of 96W. As a PoE power sourcing equipment, the switch intelligently detects whether connected devices are PoE-compatible, supplying power exclusively to compliant devices and thereby safeguarding non-PoE equipment from potential damage.
The switch features a toggle switch that can forcibly reduce the speed of ports 1 to 8 to 10 Mbps, enabling transmission distances of up to 250 meters over existing twisted-pair cables. Ports 1 through 8 are mutually isolated but maintain communication with the uplink ports (ports 9 and 10), effectively segregating collision and broadcast domains, reducing broadcast storms, and enhancing network communication efficiency. This makes it an ideal choice for video surveillance networking in hotels, retail stores, supermarket.
